Author Guidelines

The KSV e-Journal of Multidisciplinary Approaches on Technology and Applications (KSV e-JMATA)

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers, review articles, case studies, short communications, and technical notes within the multidisciplinary scope of the journal. Submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Submissions should be original and not under consideration by any other journal or conference.
  • Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • All papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should generally include the following sections:

  1. Title – concise and informative (maximum 20 words).
  2. Author Information – full name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and email ID of corresponding author.
  3. Abstract – maximum 250 words, summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  4. Keywords – 4 to 6 keywords, arranged alphabetically.
  5. Introduction – background, problem statement, objectives, and significance of study.
  6. Literature Review / Related Work
  7. Methodology – research design, materials, tools, and techniques.
  8. Results and Discussion – findings with analysis and interpretation.
  9. Conclusion and Future Scope
  10. Acknowledgements (if any).
  11. References – formatted in APA 7th edition.

3. Formatting Style

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing throughout.
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides.
  • Headings: Use APA 7th edition heading levels.
  • Word Limit:
    1. Research / Review Articles: 4,000 – 6,000 words
    2. Short Communications / Case Studies: 2,000 – 3,000 words
    3. Technical Notes: up to 2,500 words

4. Figures and Tables

  • All figures and tables must be numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.).
  • Provide clear titles and captions below figures and above tables.
  • Images must be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

5. Referencing Style (APA 7th Edition)

  • All in-text citations and references must follow the APA 7th edition style.
  • Examples:

6. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted electronically to the Editorial Office of KSV e-JMATA via email: [Insert official journal email].
  • Along with the manuscript, authors must submit:
    1. A signed Author Declaration Form confirming originality and copyright compliance.
    2. A Conflict of Interest Statement (if applicable).

7. Review and Publication

  • All manuscripts undergo initial screening by the editors for relevance and plagiarism check.
  • Papers passing the initial screening will be reviewed by at least two independent peer reviewers.
  • Based on reviewer feedback, manuscripts may be accepted, revised, or rejected.
  • Accepted papers will be published online in the upcoming issue with open-access availability.

8. Copyright & Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright of their published work.
  • Articles are published under an open-access license (CC BY), allowing free use, distribution, and reproduction with proper citation.
