Abstract

The paper is about analysis and survey of the diverse applications, technologies, and security prospect of the Internet of things (IoT). Internet of Things - as the name suggests uses different technologies and use of its architecture for connecting different things with no or very little interaction of human. Today almost every application uses IoT in one or in another way. There should be a wide range of technologies require for making connected things at any time in a cost-effective way. IoT- has followed lots of security principles for achieving safe and secure IoT realization. Many researchers have attempted to address the different scenarios of the IoT. This paper presents an overview of IoT applications, IoT technologies and related challenges, and the future directions for the IoT.
